Only 14 games into his rookie season, Ricky Rubio has already provided us with a plethora of razzle-dazzles and alley-oops. He makes us say ooOOooh and aaAAaahh a lot, too. And the highlights are even more impressive when you consider he’s just 21 and still getting accustomed to the NBA game. Never short on flair, here are No. 9’s top 9 plays on the young season.

No. 9:

Alright D-Will makes this look especially nice, but Rubio’s dime right off the dribble was a bullseye. Manu’s like…”ah man.”

No. 8:

Ricky tells fellow newb Jimmer to do a 180 and look confused. Fredette’s such a nice guy.

No. 7:

We know you have a pair of eyes in the back of your floppy-haired head, Mr. Rubio. Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery.

No. 6:

This would be a lot higher if he nutmegged Nate Robinson. While the pass was creative, Dirk’s long legs were pretty much asking for it.

The shot-clock read “5,” but it should have read “time to split the D and toss an off-balanced lob.”
