Senior (2007-08): Helped lead Ohio State to NIT title, averaging 11.6 points and 8.0 rebounds in 24.3 minutes during the tournament. Finished second in Big Ten in FG% (.596), tying the seventh-best single-season mark in OSU history. Tied for fifth in the league in blocks (49) and eighth in rebounding (6.4 rpg). Recorded double digit points in 18 games, including six of last eight contests. Grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds and added 11 points vs. California in NIT Second Round. Played a career-high 41 minutes vs. Purdue, posting 15 points, six rebounds three blocks and one steal in the OT victory. Tied career-high with 17 points and grabbed 14 boards vs. Tennessee.
Junior (2006-07): Started eight of 39 games. Grabbed 175 rebounds on the season, including 87 on the offensive end. Finished second on the squad with 41 blocks and 4.5 rpg. Had four rebounds in 16 minutes of action vs. Georgetown in NCAA Final Four. Grabbed seven rebounds in 14 minutes in NCAA Second Round vs. Xavier. Recorded 15 points and five rebounds at Minnesota. Recorded first double-double as a Buckeye with 17 points and 11 rebounds vs. Cleveland State. Grabbed a season-high 13 boards in his OSU debut vs. VMI.
Sophomore (2005-06): Earned honorable mention NJCAA All-America honors. Averaged 16.8 points and 11.4 rebounds and helped lead Hillsborough Community College to a 24-6 record. Recorded 22 points, 17 rebounds and six blocks in season-ending loss to River Community College in the 2006 Florida Community College Activities Association state tournament. Grabbed 10 or more rebounds in 15 games, including 20 boards vs. St. Petersburg College (1/21).
Freshman (2004-05): Averaged 8.8 points and 5.8 rebounds for Hillsborough as a freshman. Pulled down 10 or more rebounds in four games and recorded four double-doubles on the season.
Strengths: Runs the floor extremely well and has decent touch around the basket. A prolific offensive rebounder.
Personal: Son of Othello Sr. and Jestina Hunter. Has two siblings, Pleasant and Nigerain.
