Career Highlights: Named First-Team All-Big 12 after his sophomore year. Earned Third-Team NABC All-America honors and Associated Press Honorable Mention All-America honors after his sophomore season. Named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year in 2005-06.

Sophomore (2005-06): Finished second on team in scoring (15.0 ppg), second in rebounds (9.2 rpg) and first in blocks (2.0 bpg). Scored in double figures 28 times. Shot 56 percent from the field. Had a career-high 26 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in Sweet 16 NCAA Tournament win over West Virginia. Totaled 59 points, 41 rebounds and nine blocks in four NCAA Tournament games. Blocked five shots in a game twice. Had 16 double-doubles and a season-high 16 rebounds twice, against Prairie View A&M and Texas Tech.

Freshman (2004-05): Missed the final games 15 games of the season after suffering a season-ending injury to his left hip against Nebraska. Finished fifth on team in scoring (9.9 ppg), third in rebounding (5.9 rpg) and second in blocks (1.5 bpg). Led the team in field goal percentage (.663). Scored double figures in nine of 16 games. Had a season-high 19 points against Centenary and a season-high 11 rebounds against Baylor. Blocked a season-high five shots in win over Texas-San Antonio.

Strengths: Athletic and fluid big man with an excellent feel for the game. Can score with his back to the basket or facing. Runs the floor extremely well and takes advantage of his quickness on the defensive end.

Personal: Son of Georgia Aldridge. Majoring in Corporate communications. Served as a mentor for Dallas-area school children during his final two years in high school.
