Dance Team Visits Boys and Girls Club

TULSA, Okla., Nov. 15, 2010 – The Tulsa 66ers dance team recently visited the Mabee Red Shield Boys and Girls Club in Tulsa. The squad spoke the girls on issues such as how to be a good leader, staying healthy and the importance of exercise.

The Mabee Boys and Girls Club is putting together its first dance team in attempts to inspire girls to become actively involved in their community as well as enjoy a unique way to exercise.

The 66ers dance team performed one of their routines as well as assisted the young girls in a routine of their own.

The Mabee Boys and Girls Club dance team is set to make its first public appearance on Saturday, Nov. 27 at the Tulsa 66ers game versus the Iowa Energy inside the Tulsa Convention Center at 7 p.m.
