The fourth-seeded 66ers, who improved to 6-3 overall against Texas this season, defeated the eighth-seeded Legends by a 94-83 final on Wednesday night in Frisco. Tulsa was led by Jerome Dyson and Robert Vaden with 23 and 20 points, respectively.
With a win Friday night, Tulsa would clinch the first round victory. A victory by Texas would force a Game Three to be held in Tulsa on Sunday, April 10, at 7 p.m. at the Convention Center. The winner of the Tulsa and Texas matchup will take on the winner of the series between the top-seeded Iowa Energy and seventh-seeded Utah Flash.
