66ers and Academy Hold Final Summer Clinic

TULSA, June 18, 2011— The Tulsa 66ers hosted their final free summer clinic on Saturday, June 18, at Academy Sports and Outdoors in Tulsa. Approximately 60 kids spent two hours working on drills that included ball handling, passing, shooting and post-moves.

For the second straight week, Tulsa 66ers assistant Dale Osbourne led the camp of kids from ages 8-14.

“We are proud of these kids for braving the heat and we would like to thank their parents or grandparents for making sure they got here,” Osbourne said. “We had another great day, worked hard and hopefully these kids had fun and improved.”

At the conclusion of camp, names were drawn for various prizes that included basketballs, 66ers practice jerseys and four basketball goals.
